By accessing this website at mantecadeckandfence.com, submitting a contact or estimate request form, or entering into a service agreement with Manteca Deck & Fence, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use this website or request our services.
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Changes take effect upon posting to this page. Your continued use of the site or services after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Manteca Deck & Fence provides residential and light commercial deck construction, fence installation, and related outdoor structure services in Manteca, CA and the surrounding region. Specific services available are described on our website and may change without notice.
All work is performed by licensed and insured contractors. Services are subject to availability and scheduling. We reserve the right to decline any project at our discretion.
Estimates provided verbally or through our website contact form are preliminary and subject to change following an on-site assessment. A formal written quote will be provided before any work begins. No work will start until the client has reviewed and signed the written quote or a separate written contract.
Prices are based on the scope of work described at the time the quote is issued. Changes to the project scope requested by the client after signing may result in additional charges. Any change orders will be documented in writing and require client approval before work continues.
Material prices are subject to market fluctuation. We will notify you of any significant material price changes that affect your project before proceeding.
Project start dates are estimates and depend on permit approval timelines, material availability, and weather conditions. Manteca Deck & Fence is not liable for delays caused by factors outside our control, including city permit review timelines, supplier delays, or weather events.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible. Cancellations made after materials have been ordered or work has begun may result in charges for materials purchased and labor completed to that point. Any applicable cancellation terms will be specified in your written contract.
Payment schedules are outlined in the written contract for each project. A deposit may be required before work begins. The remaining balance is typically due upon project completion and final walkthrough. Specific payment terms - including amounts and timing - will be clearly stated in your written agreement.
Invoices not paid within the timeframe specified in the contract may be subject to a late fee. We reserve the right to suspend work on a project if payment is not received according to the agreed schedule.
Accepted payment methods are listed in your contract. We do not accept payment through the website.
Where required by local law, we obtain building permits on behalf of the client as part of the project scope. Permit fees are typically included in or added to the project quote and are the financial responsibility of the client. Final project completion is contingent on passing all required inspections.
Clients are responsible for disclosing any HOA restrictions, easements, property line disputes, or other encumbrances that may affect the project before work begins. We are not liable for violations arising from undisclosed restrictions.
Our workmanship warranty, if offered, is specified in your written contract. Warranty coverage applies to defects in materials or installation and does not cover damage caused by normal wear, weather events, improper maintenance, or modifications made by others after project completion.
Material warranties are governed by the respective manufacturer and are separate from any workmanship warranty we provide. We will assist you in submitting a manufacturer warranty claim if needed, but we are not responsible for manufacturer warranty decisions.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to a project shall not exceed the total amount you paid us for that specific project.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
If a dispute arises from or relates to our services or these terms, we ask that you first contact us directly so we can attempt to resolve it. Most concerns can be addressed quickly and informally.
